Portable heaters are a major cause of residential fires in the United States. The CZ Infrared™ heater, however, cannot cause a fire because the quartz infrared heating elements are confined inside a fire-proof heat exchanger. The outside of the CZ Infrared™ remains cool to the touch. Pets can sleep on it, when it is operating, without harm.
Unlike kerosene, gas or wood heating, which must have excessive ventilation (cold air coming into the hours), for safe operation, the CZ Infrared™ heater provides increased heating efficiency because it does not need room ventilation since there are no combustion by-products.

The CZ Infrared™ heater is a healthier heat, because unlike other heating sources, it will not reduce humidity or oxygen content in the room. Typical heating sources reduce humidity which is drying to your sinuses, skin and increases static electricity which is detrimental to health. Also, with other heating sources, you may notice increased lethargy or sleepiness due to burning up of oxygen and destruction of health negative ions.
In addition, all CZ Infrared™ Quarts Infrared Portable Heaters are equipped with a 3 micron reusable filter system which will remove airborne particles as the air is pulled into the heating system.

The beautiful wood veneer cabinet on the wood models of the CZ Infrared™ heaters feature high quality casters for easy mobility. On the back of the heater is a newly redesigned permanent washable air filter and cord storage retainer.
The infrared heat exchanger is constructed of galvanized steel and copper for a lifetime of reliable efficient operation.

By using individual controlled units, the CZ Infrared™ heater provides heat only where and when it is needed. Portable zoned heating produces economical heating for maximum energy savings by heating only the areas that you desire to heat.
The CZ Infrared™ heater comes with accurate electronic thermostat controls and a delayed start function to provide accurate comfort settings and to minimize energy costs when you are not at home.
The CZ Infrared™ infrared heater is less expensive to operate per square foot than other forms of electric or gas heat.
The CZ Infrared™ heater uses standard 115 volt household current, and requires no special 220 volt wiring, chimney vent or expensive duct installation.

The CZ Infrared™ heater provides even heat distribution. It is thermostatically controlled, and circulates and recycles heated air from floor to ceiling so that the temperature differential is minor, thus eliminating the need for a ceiling fan.
As the CZ Infrared™ heater operates, you will notice that its heating ability does not depend on a high-speed flow of air. Instead, the gentle air flow allows for better air mixing inside the unit for more effective heating action.

Just plug the power cord into any 115 volt 15 amp receptacle. Push the red rocker switch to the "ON" position and then set the thermostat to the desired temperature. The first DC fan will turn on during the warm-up cycle. Once the infrared quartz heating elements have warmed up (about 2 minutes) the second fan will turn on, delivering additional soft heavenly heat for maximum efficiency and comfort.
